Creating a Persona
Ready to see your brand through your audience’s eyes? Here’s how to create a persona and put it to work in your reports.
Create a persona
Section titled “Create a persona”-
Go to Audience Personas
Navigate to Audience Personas in the sidebar.

Click Create New Persona
Click the Create New Persona button to open the creation form.

Enter a name
Give your persona a clear, descriptive name — for example, “Enterprise Buyer,” “Small Business Owner,” or “Technical Evaluator.”

Add a description
Describe who this person is and what they care about. What’s their role? What problems are they trying to solve? What factors matter most in their decisions?

Define key attributes
Add specific traits, needs, or contexts that shape how this person searches. The more detail you provide, the more realistic the AI simulation will be.
“Marketing manager at a B2B SaaS company with 50–200 employees” gives AI much more context than just “marketer.” The specificity shapes the questions and recommendations AI produces.
Using personas in reports
Section titled “Using personas in reports”Once you’ve created personas, you can assign them to prompts when creating a report. In the Add Prompts step of the report wizard, select a persona for any prompt. That prompt will be run with the persona’s context, simulating how that type of person would interact with AI.
After running the report, compare results across personas to see which audience segments your brand reaches best.
Managing your personas
Section titled “Managing your personas”The Audience Personas page shows all personas shared across your team. From here you can:
- Edit an existing persona to refine its description or attributes
- Delete a persona you no longer need
Personas are shared — any team member with the Member or Owner role can create and manage them.
You need an active subscription plan to create personas.
