Managing Your Plan
Your plan determines what your team can do in TrioSens — from the number of reports you can run to how many team members you can invite. Here’s how to view and manage your subscription.
Viewing your plan
Section titled “Viewing your plan”-
Go to Team Settings
Open your team settings from the sidebar.
-
Click Billing
Navigate to the Billing section to see your subscription details.
-
Review your plan details
You’ll see your current plan name, monthly price, billing period, and seat usage — how many team member slots you’ve used versus your plan’s limit.
Changing your plan
Section titled “Changing your plan”You can switch between self-serve plans at any time directly from the billing page. Changes take effect immediately, and any unused time on your current plan is credited toward the new plan.
-
Go to Billing
Open your team settings and navigate to Billing.
-
Click Change plan on the plan you want
Below your current subscription, each available plan shows a Change plan button. Click it on the plan you want to switch to.
-
Review the proration preview
A confirmation dialog shows exactly what will happen:
- Credit for unused time — how much of your current plan’s remaining time is credited back.
- Charged today — the net amount billed to your card right now (new plan price minus the credit).
- Next renewal — the date your new plan cycle renews.
-
Confirm the change
Click Confirm change. Your new plan is active immediately, and a link to the updated invoice appears in the confirmation toast.
Changing plans updates your existing subscription — you keep the same billing relationship with Stripe. The credit for unused time is applied as an invoice credit, not a refund to your card.
Downgrading with existing reports or members
Section titled “Downgrading with existing reports or members”If you’re downgrading to a smaller plan, TrioSens checks whether your current usage fits the new plan’s limits before letting you confirm:
- Active reports — if you have more active reports than the new plan allows, the dialog tells you exactly how many to deactivate first. Deactivate the excess reports from the reports page, then try changing plans again.
- Team members — if your team has more members than the new plan allows (and seat limits are enforced for your team), remove members from team settings before downgrading.
This prevents ending up in an over-limit state where you’re paying for a plan but can’t create new reports.
Changing plans while cancelled
Section titled “Changing plans while cancelled”If you previously cancelled your subscription and it’s still in the grace period, you can change plans anytime — confirming the change automatically reverses your cancellation. You’ll see a note in the confirmation toast that your cancellation has been reversed.
When plan changes are blocked
Section titled “When plan changes are blocked”Plan changes are temporarily unavailable when:
- Your last payment failed. Update your payment method through Manage Subscription first, then come back and change plans.
- You’re on a custom or Enterprise plan. Contact sales for changes to custom plans — email support@triosens.io.
- The target plan is custom. Custom plans require a sales conversation rather than self-serve checkout.
Cancelling your plan
Section titled “Cancelling your plan”You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page.
-
Go to Billing
Open your team settings and navigate to Billing.
-
Click Manage Subscription
This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can manage your subscription.
-
Cancel your subscription
Follow the prompts to cancel. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens when you cancel
Section titled “What happens when you cancel”- Nothing changes immediately. You keep full access to all features through the end of your billing period.
- Your billing page and home page will show that your plan is ending and the date your access expires.
- You can reactivate at any time before your plan expires by clicking Manage Subscription on the billing page.
When your plan expires
Section titled “When your plan expires”At the end of your billing period:
- Active reports are paused — they stop running but are not deleted. All your data (reports, brands, prompts, conversation history) is preserved.
- You can’t create new reports, invite team members, or create audience personas until you resubscribe.
- To resubscribe, go to your billing page and choose a plan. Once subscribed, you can reactivate your paused reports.
Cancelling your plan never deletes your data. Your reports, brands, and prompts are preserved and ready to pick up where you left off when you resubscribe.
Each team has its own subscription plan. If you’re on multiple teams, each one is billed separately. Cancelling one team’s plan doesn’t affect your other teams.
Keep an eye on your seat usage if you’re inviting new members. You may need to upgrade your plan to add more seats.
